Pregnancy Diary - WEEK 23

I have been suffering from really bad headaches all week and was worried that it could have been linked to something serious like pre-eclampsia like I had last time. Funny thing is though, my sister has been suffering too and she isn't pregnant?

Just for peace of mind, I went to see the nurse at my local surgery to have my blood pressure tested. It was absolutely fine, but I was told that there were lots of viruses going round that involved bad headaches so I had probably picked one up.

Apart from that I have been feeling well and pregnancy is going smoothly. My little girl has been sleeping through the night after having a few weeks of disturbed sleep so I am now getting the sleep I need too!

I have been getting a few braxton hicks this week, they aren't uncomfortable but am very aware that they are happening.

Been looking at prams for the new baby, we already have a MacClaren Buggy which is supposed to be suitable from birth but I am not convinced. I would like a pram that can have a buggy board on the back for my daughter but the prams I like are around £300 and once a baby is 6 months old, it looks silly being in a pram. I didn't buy one the first time round. I have been looking on kiddicare.com where they have some real bargains. I will just keep my eye out for a nice looking three wheeler buggy I think.

I have an appointment with the midwife next week, my first appointment since I was 14 weeks, so its been a long time.
