Pregnancy Diary - WEEK 27

I have had a busy week this week and its really taken its toll on me. I met up with a few girls I used to work with. Three of us are pregnant, one is due 2 weeks after me , the other is due a month after me. We are all carrying differently. I seem to be all bump. One of my friends is carrying more into her back. Its good to have other people to compare notes with.

I wont be going to any ante natal classes as I didn't really enjoy them first time round. I think they are good for women who don't know anyone who has children but a lot of my friends and family have kids so I use them for support. The evening where the partners had to go was hysterical. I asked my husband if he wanted to go and he didn't, he isn't comfortable talking about personal things in front of complete strangers. I didn't mind, I said as long as he read a few books with me so he knew what to expect, I would let him off the hook! All the men and women were sitting round and it was all going well until the midwife mentioned the word VAGINA. All the men went white and didn't know where to look!

I am starting to relax a bit more when Amber is at playgroup. I was rushing round for the whole 2 hours she was gone, but I make myself sit down for at least an hour. I need to rest more now as I wont be able to rest when the baby comes.
