Pregnancy Diary - WEEK 36
I saw the midwife again this week. She took yet another swab from me to make sure the thrush had gone. Lets hope it has. Everything else was fine, heard the heartbeat again, its always a comfort to hear it. Blood pressure was very good and no protein in the wee which means no signs of pre-eclampsia yet.
Went to the hairdressers to get pampered for a couple of hours. I did enjoy some time to myself but it was pretty uncomfortable sitting in that chair whilst I had all my highlights done. Still, I felt nice afterwards so it was worth it.
I am now having reflexology once a week until the birth. Its so relaxing and its amazing what my reflexologist can tell me from touching my feet. She said all my lymphatic system was very sensitive suggesting I was fighting an infection. I feel fine but quite often she picks up things that are going to happen to me, ie colds or sore throats.
My pelvic pain hasn't been too bad this week, I find the more I keep moving the better it is. I do dread going to bed though as that is when it is uncomfortable.
I was hoping my buggy and car seat would be coming sometime this week but it hasn't turned up yet. I know I shouldn't panic but I want to make sure I am organised.
I saw one of my friends this week who is 2 weeks behind me, she looked really well but is carrying completely different to me. I seem to have this huge bump sticking out at the front and you cant really tell from the back that I am pregnant, she is carrying more across than out front. We both scoffed our faces with chocolate muffins which is a perfectly acceptable thing to do when you are pregnant.
